Spiritual ecology: association Zeměsouznění

This paper deals with spiritual aspects of environmental movements. For my research, I chose the Zeměsouznění association, which is currently working on a construction of the first Czech ecovillage on the land of the former village of Pěčkovice. Through qualitative research, I have tried to answer questions about motivation and interest in environmentalism and spirituality, how these two topics interact. At the same time, the work explains their connection with the project of exposing the ecovillage. The concept of spiritual ecology is not yet rooted in the Czech context, and therefore this work deals with how spiritual ecology manifests itself in the Czech Republic. I try to answer in what ecology can manifest itself spiritually, what value systems the members of the association play and what role the community plays in the association.
Puppet theatre as an educational means of preschool education

Bachelor's thesis pursues the use of puppets during preschool education to support the development of positive models of child behavior. The theoretical part is focused on the development of puppet theater, furthermore on the history, types and functions of puppets and subsequently on puppets from the perspective of the child. The aim of the research was to find out what effects the puppet theater and the puppet itself has on building moral values and on the socialization of a kindergarten child. The design of qualitative research was chosen with use of the method of phenomenological research and action research.

Víra a morální hodnoty sociálního pracovníka v pomáhajících profesích Faith and moral values of social workers in the helping professions Michaela Fiedlerová This bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of faith and values in social work, highlights areas where religion and spirituality are already firmly in place and also reveals the dark side of religiosity and crisis situations arising trough involvement ones worldview into the relationship between social worker - whatever party worker or client is believer. The paper endeavors to answer the question whether and, if so, to what extent can social worker affect the service to his religious beliefs. Pitfall of religiosity in social work lies in the fact that the social worker can access to his task as a religious mission, more or less consciously can put pressure on the client (or colleagues) to accept his understanding of the world, to profess the s ame values and even in the same manner. The social worker has considerable power over the client, legitimate one, arising from his position, expert power and especially power resulting from source control. Moral distress of teachers

This Master's thesis analyzes the subject of moral distress of Czech primary school teachers. It is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part clarifies key concepts and terms of ethics in education. Aside from more general terms like ethics, morals, and stress, it also covers crucial terms like moral distress and critical events. The second, practical part analyzes a qualitative dataset to describe and categorize different forms of moral distress. It records a variety of ways of solving critical situations and their potential influence on the psyche and professional development of educators. The aim of this work is to serve as a base for additional research or as a material for creating strategies to overcome similar situations. Lemony Snicket´s Series of Unfortunate Events and Joan Rowling´s Harry Potter as Examples of Contemporary Anglo-American Moral Fantasy

The thesis deals with the interpretation of Series of Unfortunate Events written by an American author Lemony Snicket and Joanne K. Rowling´s story about Harry Potter. The analysis is focused on the moral and ethical aspects of individual motifs and symbols, as well as on the importance of human values in the behaviour of main characters. Some of the main protagonist were analysed according to their ability to spread good or evil, and therefore their influence on the young reader. The most important aspect was the good will of characters according to the principles of Lévinas' ethics while the self-sacrifice of the heroes is considered the highest moral value.
The not used institute of clausule or reserves of conscience in journalism in czech journalistic self - regulation

In this bachelor thesis, I will concentrate on the topic of the clause or reserves of conscience of journalists as unused institute in czech journalistic self-regulation. Besides this topic the bachelor thesis will point out on if czech journalists use all their rights, especially the clause or the reserves of conscience or of the ethical codes are not used in the journalistic self- regulation. Journalists can be exerted to the pressure from the directory of media, or for example from the politicians. Journalists are supposed to work according to their best conscience because of their influence on the public life of the society. According to these reasons it is important to realize that journalists need a legal protection. This kind of protection is established in ethical codes in the self-regulation of media. Besides the elementary rights and obligations the clause or reserves of conscience can be established in the ethical codes, which guarantee journalists that they can refuse a work which is in the contradiction with their conscience or their moral values. Use of musical activities for moral values strengthening of children in kindergarten

This Bachelor Thesis The use of musical activities to strengthen moral values of children in nursery schools focuses on the ways of implementation of musical activities in nursery schools to acquire the fundamentals of moral values. In the theoretical part of this work is further described the definition of the term moral values, characterization of particular values and upbringing to the right values in contemporary society. Moreover, the Thesis aims at various types of musical activities in nursery school. Furthermore, the specification of preschool education is described in regards to age-heterogeneous class in nursery school, the evaluation of the education programme for preschool education and the pedagogical evaluation of the children´s moral values in nursery schools. In the practical part of the Thesis there is created the musical activities program supporting acquirement of the fundamentals of moral values. The musical activities program is realised in the age-heterogeneous class in a nursery school and is evaluated according to a prepared evaluation plan. In this case is used the method of structural observation. Besides the exploration of the options of musical activities implementation to acquire fundamentals of moral values there is also researched how all these activities can influence the children´s behaviour in the group.
Use of folk songs for moral values strengthening of children in kindergarten

The Bachelor Thesis deals with possibilities of a folk song utilization for strengthening of moral values in a kindergarten. In the theoretical part there is a moral values definition included, a characterization of individual values, the work also pursues of upbringing to values issues in the common society. The work also focuses on a folk song as such, its characterization and its possibilities of an utilization in upbringing to values with regard with the Framework Education Programme for a preschool education. In the practical part there has been created a programme of activities coming out of folk songs and focuses on an acquiring bases of moral values. For the programme evaluation has been used a method of a structured observation where as a research group acts a class of heterogeneous children of one kindergarten. The aim of this work is to bring new ideas for using a folk song in upbringing to values and find out how working with a song with a moral content can influent following behaviour and thinking of children in a group.
Logotherapy Value in Teaching Pupils of Secundary School

The work deals with the psychological direction of logotherapy. The theoretical part introduces its origins, development and content, in the form logotherapeutic values. These values are elaborated in detail, so that they can be understood by pupils at the senior primary school. Furthermore, it summarizes the stage of development corresponding to the age group of pupils at the senior primary school with respect to both, physical and mental and also neological aspects. The practical part contains an implementation of logotherapeutic values in the education of pupils at the senior primary school in the General Educational Program of basic education. This includes the love, faith, hope, death, suffering and guilt, as understood by logotherapy, in the Ethics Education subject or in the cross-sectional topic of Personality and Social Education.
